Walking in the night through the fallen ruins
far away from the noises of the town
nothing seems to fit in this shadow world
when a vision made his heart to miss a beat
then the chase began through the silent fields
and the empty bridges covered in grey moss
after every corner, just a thought away
he ran to fill the desire that he felt

until he realized
that everything was just inside his mind
a ray of the moon
passing through the trees
putting an illusion in front of him
a glimpse of glory
a glimpse of beauty
but atop his lonely tower he remained
